If you feel like exploring Houlgate and its surroundings by bike, Les Cabines hotel offers you, for rental, electric bicycles "ShiftBikes" (made in France) with a range of up to 70 kms. You can travel around as much as you want!

Half-day (8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.), full day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Single bikes: € 10 for half a day and € 15 for the day.
Electric bikes: € 20 for half a day and € 30 for the day.

BIKE ITINERARIES

From Houlgate to Cabourg (round trip: 10 km, 1h)
You can stop along the way at the beautiful marina of Dives-Cabourg-Houlgate (port Guillaume) and above all enjoy the romantic and elegant city of Cabourg, its architecture, its gardens and all its riches!

From Houlgate to Franceville (25 km round trip, 2h30)
A beautiful stroll along the coast passing through Cabourg. Little advice, do not miss the incredible Dunes of Franceville, classified in "natural area of ​​ecological faunistic and floristic interest" (ZNIEFF) and have a drink at the "Face-Bay" with a breathtaking view of the estuary of the Orne.

From Houlgate to Ouistreham (East side of the landing beaches) (round trip 50 km, 5h)
After Franceville, cross the Pegasus bridge and continue along the Orne estuary towards Ouistreham and the start of the landing beaches. Among other things, you can visit the N ° 4 Commando Museum and the Atlantic Wall Museum, which tell the story of this momentous moment.

From Houlgate to Villers-sur-Mer (Round trip 15 km, 1h30)
Take the Corniche road to Auberville, then the Blandin road and the Ormeaux road which goes down to Villers-sur-Mer. On the program: an exceptional natural and cultural heritage, just like its coastal neighbors.

From Houlgate to Deauville / Trouville (round trip  30 km, 2h30)
After Villers-sur-Mer, walk along the beach to Blonville, go up towards Benerville, then at the bottom of the descent turn left on the dike and follow the beach for 3 km towards the famous Deauville.


The Cider Route (round trip 3h30mn)

Visit the typical villages of the "Pays d'Auge", the stud farms and cider farms.
